Del Prado Crowned APT Philippines Champion!

From 231 players battling it out over five days we finally have our 2011 APT Philippines Main Event Champion. Enrique del Prado, from the Philippines, has claimed the coveted title – and the USD $179,260 purse that goes along with it – after defeating Hong Kong’s Elton Tsang (USD $95,230) in a grueling heads up battle.

The road to victory was anything but ordinary for Del Prado. Numerous times he called down his opponents without hitting but didn’t seem to lose a single big pot he was involved in. His style of snap-calls in almost every hand seemed to bamboozle his opponents…
