It is with great pleasure that the Asian Poker Tour announces another poker festival added to the APT calendar, the APT Experience Manila 2016. Due to the success of the APT Kickoff 2016, we felt it was our duty to come back with this exciting mid-year event.
The APT Experience Manila 2016 will be running from Saturday May 14 until Sunday May 22, 2016 at the APT Poker Room Manila inside the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Casino Filipino in Ermita, Manila, Philippines. This is the first time the APT will be holding an event that starts and ends on a weekend.
So what does this mean for all you poker enthusiasts? With a lot of poker festivals ongoing throughout the month of May, weekend warriors now have the option of making their way to the APT Experience Manila 2016 to participate in some of the best structured events in the region, and at an affordable price.
The festival will run for nine days and will have the same line-up of events as the other APT stops, with some added improvements. As always, the Welcome Event P1M Guarantee will take the lead and will likely see a wider range of players participating that weekend. On the tail end, the closing events should also see a rise in attendance. During the week, the Main Event will be taking control of the floor, and will have a buy-in of P55,000.
The APT Experience Manila 2016 isn’t just limited to the poker festivities. The bustling metropolis is also known to have the best nightlife in the region with a slew of bars, and restaurants, and events to check out at any given evening. By having the festival run through two weekends, it gives players the time to experience the Manila nightlife in its top form.
In the words of Executive Tournament Director, Lloyd Fontillas, “The APT Experience Manila 2016 is all about experiencing more than just the poker festivities.”
We will be posting more information on the APT Experience Manila 2016 in the coming days, so stay tuned for that on the website and in our facebook page.
Time to experience the APT as it goes from weekend to weekend!
