			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thirty players from the gaming industry participated in the APT London Ice Poker Championship, a £200 Turbo Tournament organized by the Asian Poker Tour at the Fox Poker Club in London’s West End.</p>
<p>Tom Hall, Business Development Director of Sunplus and one of the founders of the APT, came out on top of the short format tournament, which also features professional poker players Nam Le and Jesse May.</p>

<p>Frederik Osterberg, Sales Director of Evolution Gaming, finished second in the event with a £4,000 guaranteed prize pool. Others in the final table were Le, May, Chi Tang, Mark Irvine, Vincent Trapenard, Kan Tang, Shuki Barak and Kevin Saliba.</p>
<p>The other big winner of the event was the British charity of Hall’s choice after the APT announced that they will give an additional £1,000 to the said charity organization.</p>

<p>The Asian Poker Tour (APT) will be holding <a href="http://www.theasianpokertour.com/apt-events/main-events/apt-philippines-2010"><strong>APT Philippines  2010</strong></a> this August at Resorts World Manila.</p>
<p>APT Philippines 2010 will be held this year in late August, which has  been traditionally reserved for the APT&#8217;s Macau event. The official  dates for the tournament are August 23 to 29. Buy-in will be US $2,500 +  US $200.</p>
<p>&#8220;We are very excited to be holding one of our biggest events at a  world-class venue such as Resorts World Manila,&#8221; said chief executive  officer Mr. Jeff Mann. &#8220;This is only one of our events for 2010, so be  sure to stay tuned for the rest of this year&#8217;s schedule!&#8221;</p>
<p>Last year’s APT Philippines 2009 attracted 262 players from around the  world and was won by local poker pro Neil Arce, who took home US  $185,000.</p>
<p>RWM is holding its first-ever major poker tournament today. Entitled the  “Resorts World Manila Inaugural Poker Championships”, the event will be  held from April 16 to 19 at RWM. The tournament is an APT-accredited  event and features a Php 2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.</p>
